Premiere Nashville Indie Label (Per Capita Records) Releases Premium Electronic Content From The UK
Eclectic indie label from Nashville, TN (Per Capita Records) is bringing music fans the most eclectic in sound from around the world...

NASHVILLE, TN, November 13, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Serious electronic music fans from the UK and around the world are getting ready for the most anticipated release this year from internationally acclaimed producer Mark Johnson (Film Noir World) of Per Capita Records. Fans of Goldfrapp, Portishead, Diplo, Squarepusher, the new album everyone is talking about is "Tales Of The Lost Cat," by Film Noir World. Anyone who owns either of the first two releases "Dark Earth" and "It's Here," will see this third album really slathers the icing on the cake. And for anyone who hasn't heard of Film Noir World before this, now is your excuse to run to iTunes and check them out.

Tales of the Lost Cat, fuses orchestral/symphonic intros and backdrops with heavy snares and other very dramatic electronic elements, creating a very unique sound and genre for that matter. Categorized as Electronic on the surface, Tales of the Lost Cat really explores the boundaries of musical genre classifications.

When asked about discovering Film Noir World, label-owner/Film Noir World proponent Jason Hoffman replied with: "Mark has the unwavering ability to create music that surpasses any genres, and shatters any expectations that could exist with the listeners of the many sub-genres of electronic music. I literally could not take the cd out of my stereo when I first heard It's Here. I immediately contacted Mark and we went on to release Dark Earth after that, which was nominated by A.A.P.A. to be one of the Best Debut Albums of 2008 alongside MGMT, Fleet Foxes, and several other breakthrough artists of 2008. I cannot wait for Tales of the Lost Cat to drop this year along with some other amazing releases we're lining up!"

Per Capita Records is a Nashville based independent record label that promotes "the most eclectic in sound." The label focuses on independent artists of all genres and accepts submissions through the website.

Tales of the Lost Cat will be available digitally in December 2009 courtesy of Per Capita Records. For more information please visit: www.percapitarecords.com
