New Boutique Adds Shyne to Nashville

NASHVILLE, TN, March 06, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Creating new nostalgia, Shyne Boutique is the latest addition to the historic East Nashville neighborhood to offer the best in fashion for men's and women's apparel, shoes and accessories.

Nestled in a shotgun-style building in the heart of the Historic 5 Points district, Shyne mixes Southern charm with the high-end fashion vibe found Los Angeles and New York. Packed tight with couture yet affordable clothing, the boutique serves the Nashville shopper with a distinct taste for hard-to-find designers like Vintage China, Anoname, 1921 and Rivet De Cru.

Shyne is also the city's exclusive carrier of Privacy Wear, the popular women's clothing and denim line themed for breast cancer awareness whose dark fitted jeans and "I Want More Privacy" tees are favorites of Hollywood starlets like Miley Cyrus, Jessica Alba, Hayden Panettiere and Eva Longoria Parker. The line donates 10% of their proceeds to breast cancer research.

Poised to be East Nashville's go-to spot for fashion, the location is a prime spot for shoppers with variety in mind. "We moved to East Nashville because of the explosion of growth in this region of the city. East Nashville is the city's hot spot. There is so much new development here and we wanted to be a part of the movement," said owner Corey Jones who was attracted to the diversity in the area when seeking to open a new location.

Jones and his partner, Latda Khamphengphet, first entered in the retail business in 2007. In an effort to expand and learn more about the area, the team joined the Historic East Nashville Merchants Association and found other new and thriving businesses on their block including Hue Tanning Salon, Metropolis, Kali Yuga Yoga, J's Pampered Paws and Platinum Salon.
Haute shoppers with hometown taste can also find Nashville designers at Shyne.

The boutique currently carries local lines like Marti Mcfli, Upper Echelon and Cajun Moon, a ready-to-wear line by O'More College of Design grad Heather Kennedy. "We give our local designers a place to launch their lines so we welcome those unique and unseen pieces at Shyne," said Jones.

Additionally, the boutique offers personal style coaching and concierge services to cater to shoppers with busy lifestyles. "We will identify the client's likes and dislikes of style, color, and fit. Our concierge clients won't ever have to set foot in the store because we can service them in their homes or offices," Jones said.

The boutique is open to the public and offers complimentary refreshments to customers on Saturday afternoons.
