Neuro-Cranial Restructuring Restores and Maintains Structural Health of Patients By Dealing with Root Cause of Pain Rather Than Pain Itself
Dr. Hillary Lampers spent the past 12 years obtaining her medical license and working closely with one of the founders of this relatively new science, all of which allow her to provide remarkable success for her patients.
SEATTLE, WA, October 28, 2008 /Tennessee News Articles/ -- If you experience chronic headaches, constant head pressure, or neck and back pain, you may not even realize that there is an alternative to relieving that severe, sometimes debilitating pain without taking drugs.
Neuro-Cranial Restructuring (NCR) is a technique which aligns the cranial, skeletal, muscular, and neurological systems in the body, often eliminating pain, improving health, performance and even allowing patients the ability to perform tasks they have not in years.
NCR involves an alignment or an adjustment of the sphenoid bone inside the patient's head with a small inflator inserted into the nasal canal allowing the doctor to manipulate the sphenoid using air.
"The treatment process is slightly invasive," said Dr. Lampers. "And because of that, you have to be a doctor if you do it. You can't be a massage therapist or an acupuncturist, though these professions often produce similar results on a short-term basis."
Hillary Lampers was working as a massage therapist when she met Dr. Dean Howell, who had perfected the NCR Technique in the 1990s.
"Before I worked with Dr Howell, I was a patient," Lampers said.
Prior to seeing Dr. Howell, Lampers had experienced what she calls a great deal of pressure in her head, resulting from the use of forceps when she was born.
Lampers first started seeing Dr. Howell in March of 1997, and within 6 months, her lifelong headaches/head pressure were totally gone. "It was then I knew that NCR was going to change my life and the lives of those around me," Dr Lampers states.
It's not just structural, she says, it's also neurological. The brain is surrounded by fluid, and after head traumas, sometimes the fluid does not flow as freely around the brain -creating diminished neurological and mental function, while also adding to the pain cycle.
But with the (a) series of treatments with Dr. Hillary Lampers at Northwest Neuro-Cranial Medicine, LLC., those survivors can experience a better quality of life than they have since the injury.
"After my first treatment," said NCR patient Hedy Eldiwany of Boston, Mass., "my eyes felt more open, my thinking was clearer, my posture improved, [and] I felt like I was back to myself."
