Colet Lahoz, founder of the East-West Clinics in White Bear Lake and Roseville, Minnesota takes a very different view to healing the body. She believes the body can heal itself without taking drugs or enduring painful, invasive surgeries. She also believes that many prescription drugs have their counterpart in herbal medicines which do not have adverse side effects and are not needed long term.

"I knew there had to be an alternative to [taking] drugs and surgery," Lahoz said. "And I knew there was a more compassionate, safe, efficient and effective way to care for sick people."

The East-West Clinics specialize in treating yeast infections which lead to diseases such as chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, depression, anxiety disorders, allergies, Chron's disease, leaky gut syndrome, Parkinson's disease ,MSA and many other chronic illnesses. Lahoz received her BS in nursing, has her master's degree in science and additionally completed training in Traditional Chinese Medicine, which led her to working with acupuncture - for which she is professionally licensed.
