Donors Respond Positively to U.S. Service Member Magazine Donation Program
The magazine subscription program Subscriptions for Soldiers has received a positive response from both donors and service members. The program aims to help people show support to active-duty deployed service members by providing an affordable donation that makes a big impact.

Donors visit www.subs4soldiers.com and can donate to a service member they know or be paired anonymously with a service member through the database of requests. Meanwhile, service members go to a separate website at www.subs4servicemembers.com and request up to three favorite magazines from 30 magazine titles like Guns & Ammo, Muscle & Fitness, Shape and Star at no cost to them.

With the help of Stars and Stripes and Military.com, Subscriptions for Soldiers has created a database of 9,000� "and growing� "service member subscription requests. Already donors have filled thousands of these requests but the need for more donors is still great.
